AHCCCS Continuity of Operations (COOP)

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) mission is to reach across Arizona to provide comprehensive, quality health care to those in need. To accomplish this mission, AHCCCS must ensure its operations are performed efficiently with minimal disruption, especially during an emergency.

Continuity of Operations (COOP) is an effort within individual agencies to ensure they can continue to perform during a wide range of emergencies, including localized acts of nature, accidents, and technological or attackā€related emergencies.

A continuity event is any event, hazard or threat that disrupts normal processes, during regular business hours and impacts service delivery.

In the event of an incident that affects AHCCCS operations, information for employees will be posted here. Information will also be communicated through your supervisor. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your supervisor.

In the event of COOP activation, AHCCCS employees may be asked to telecommute. See instructions on how to log in from home.
